      • For this assignment, we were to locate a study that had been undertaken on a topic of interest to us. We were to describe the study, discuss strengths and weakness, identify next steps for research, explain the classroom application, and discuss how it could be used in writing. My article covered a research project devoted to investigating the effectiveness of project based learning.
    • Education and My American Dream
      • For this assignment, we were to reflect on our own schooling thus far and create our own version of the “American dream.” The main point of the exercise was to illustrate the larger picture of who I am, how I came to be interested in education, and what I believe about education.

      • This was the culmination of my annotated bibliography work.
    • Action Research Analysis Paper
      • This assignment was aimed at developing an intervention for a problem faced by my students. This paper was part one of a two part series and was focused on providing an overview of my student, identifying and contextualizing the challenges in reading and writing faced by the individual. It also involved researching potential strategies for resolving the challenges.
